The Difference between Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Angle Bar

图片
The key difference between   hot rolled stainless steel angle bar   and cold rolled stainless steel angle bar is: 1. Cold-rolled formed steel allows partial buckling in the cross section, which can flexibly use the load-bearing capacity of the component after buckling, while hot-rolled angle bar does not allow partial buckling in the cross section. 2. The internal stress caused by hot-rolled channel steel and cold-rolled channel steel is different, so the spread of the cross section is also different. The internal stress on the cross section of the cold drawn thick-walled channel steel is bent, while the internal stress on the cross section of the hot rolled angle bar is plastic film type. 3. The torsion stiffness of hot-rolled angle bar is higher than that of cold-rolled angle bar, so the torsion resistance of hot-rolled angle bar is better than cold-rolled angle bar.

Usage of Stainless Steel Plate

304 Stainless Steel Pipe: Surface Pretreating

图片
1.   304 stainless steel pipes   should do preheated to remove moisture before blasting and remove rust. The preheating temperature is 40℃~60℃; 2. The rust removal should reach the Sa2.5 level in GB/T8923 and the depth of anchor pattern on pipe is 40μm-100μm; 3. The rust and dust remaining on the 304 stainless steel pipe should be cleaned up; 4. Spraying should be carried out within 4h after surface pretreatment of pipes. HCADTO Stainless Steel Co., Ltd.  the Stainless Steel Division of ADTO GROUP, specializes in manufacturing stainless steel pipes, stainless steel angle bar, flat bar, round bar, square bar, hexagonal bar and channel bar in various grades and sizes. Our years of production experience and manufacturing facilities will ensure the good quality and competitive duration of our products.

310s Stainless Steel Pipe: High Temperature Oxidation Resistance

图片
310s stainless steel pipe   is austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel. Because it has high percentage of chromium and nickel, 310s stainless steel pipe works well in high temperatures and has good high temperature resistance. 1. 310s stainless steel pipe shows its good oxidation resistance at 800°C, 900°C, and 1000°C. With the extension of time at each temperature, there are different degrees of oxidative weight gain, but the oxidative trend slows down. At the same time, as the temperature increases, the oxidation rate increases. 2. The oxide film is composed of MnCr2O4, Cr2O3 and SiO2. With the increase of temperature, the production of MnCr2O4 increases. The three-layer compact structure and its own good oxidation resistance make the 310s stainless steel pipe show good high temperature oxidation resistance. Precautions for storage of stainless steel pipe

图片
  1.       The construction should be stopped when it is rainy or the relative humidity is greater than 75%.     2.       The stainless steel pipe  should be stored in a cool and dry place to prevent direct sunlight, cut off from fire sources, and away from heat sources.     3.       The storage period of stainless steel pipe is twelve months. After the expiration date, various technical indicators should be inspected. If the indicator requirements are met, it can be used continuously.

The Difference Between 304, 304L, 304H Stainless Steel

图片
According to the content of chromium and nickel, all of them are 304 stainless steel, they are contain 18% chromium (Cr) and 8% nickel (Ni). And the main difference of them is the carbon content. 304L is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel. The carbon content lower than 0.03%, which can avoid intergranular corrosion. In theory, the effect of stress corrosion resistance is stronger than that of 304. The H in 304H refers to high temperature. High carbon content is the guarantee of high temperature strength. GB150 requires that when austenitic steel is used above 525 degrees, the carbon content should not be less than 0.04%. Carbide is a strengthening phase, especially high temperature strength that is better than pure austenite. The highest carbon content is 304H, the lowest carbon content is 304L, and the carbon content of 304 stainless steel is between the two.
