The Difference between Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Angle Bar

The key difference between hot rolled stainless steel angle bar and cold rolled stainless steel angle bar is:

1. Cold-rolled formed steel allows partial buckling in the cross section, which can flexibly use the load-bearing capacity of the component after buckling, while hot-rolled angle bar does not allow partial buckling in the cross section.

2. The internal stress caused by hot-rolled channel steel and cold-rolled channel steel is different, so the spread of the cross section is also different. The internal stress on the cross section of the cold drawn thick-walled channel steel is bent, while the internal stress on the cross section of the hot rolled angle bar is plastic film type.

3. The torsion stiffness of hot-rolled angle bar is higher than that of cold-rolled angle bar, so the torsion resistance of hot-rolled angle bar is better than cold-rolled angle bar.
