Inspection Method of Stainless Steel Flat Bar

Stainless steel flat bar is a rectangular steel with pure edges. Stainless steel flat steel can be composed of various stress-bearing components according to the different needs of the structure, also it can be used as a connection between components. It is widely used in various building structures and engineering structures, such as house beams, bridges, power transmission towers, lifting and transporting machinery, ships, industrial furnaces, reaction towers, container racks and warehouse shelves.



Testing methods:

① Tensile test method. Standard inspection methods are GB/T228-87, JISZ2201, JISZ2241, ASTMA370, ГОСТ1497, BS18, DIN50145, etc..

② Bend test method. Standard inspection methods are GB/T232-88, JISZ2204, JISZ2248, ASTME290, ГОСТ14019, DIN50111, etc..

(2) Performance index: The main test items for evaluating performance are tensile test and bending test. The indicators include yield point, tensile strength, elongation and bending qualification.

How to Distinguish 201 and 304 Stainless Steel Plate

1.   304 stainless steel plate   is shiny and has a good gloss with smooth touching, while 201 stainless steel plate is dark and has no gloss with rough uneven touching.
