The Difference between Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Angle Bar

The key difference between hot rolled stainless steel angle bar and cold rolled stainless steel angle bar is:

1. Cold-rolled formed steel allows partial buckling in the cross section, which can then flexibly use the load-bearing capacity of the component after buckling, while hot-rolled angle bar does not allow partial buckling in the cross section.

2. The causes of internal stress are different, and the spread on the cross section is also quite different. The internal stress on the cross section of the cold drawn thick-walled angle bar is bent, while the internal stress on the cross section of the hot rolled angle bar is of the plastic film type.

3. The random torsion stiffness of hot-rolled angle bar is higher than that of cold-rolled angle bar, so the torsion resistance of hot-rolled angle bar is better than cold-rolled angle bar.
